Description: Edgar Degas Dancer On Stage AKA "The Star" Wood Framed Print Vintage distressed ivory color frame has paper backing and hanging wire. We think the glazing isacrylic rather than glass but we can't take the backing off to check as the paper is sealed. The frame is finished in a semi-gloss paint with distressed areas. It can be refinished or repainted if you have those skills. The outside dimensions are 12 3/4" high x 10" wide x 5/8" thick (deep).The colors are still vibrant for their age. This framed print was on display in a dance studio in theNorthern California area for many decades. The classic print has no matting and the Degas signature is at the top left. There is a crunched damaged area at the top edge of the frame which can be seen in our last photo. The back of the frame has some handwriting on the paper which says "Ballarina On Stage Edgar Degas" (which is not the correct title or spelling for this piece). It also has a silver foil sticker marked "Gifts From Frances Reed, Oakland".The piece weighs 1 pound 4.1 ounces.Easel is not included. 430200 Blue Tag 14.12.3
