The frame has minor scratches due to the old age, Einar Nicolajsen (1900) Born in Copenhagen in 1900. Most active in the period 1930-1960s. Danish painter, caricaturist, and illustrator. Known for his colourful Art Deco gouaches, oils and series of caricature drawings. His works often consists of bold straight lines, distinctive circular patterns and geometric abstractions. He worked and travelled in the USA during the 1930s and is also known for his interior décor and stage set design for Danish theatres. Einar Nicolajsen started out with figurative painting but soon moved towards a more abstract style and experimented with geometric elements and minimalism.
