Description: Elements of Engineering Geology by H. Ries and Thomas L. Watson. This hardcover book was published in February 1948 by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. It is the Second Edition, Revised, Fourth Printing. It has 469 pages and measures about 6.25" x 9.25". There is a bookplate on the front paper with the previous owner's name and a price written in pencil at the top right of the page. There is one page that has some notations written on it, mainly in red pencil, but they are very light. No other writing was observed in the book. There were a couple pages that had paper clips on them, which I removed. They currently have left some indentations, but they possibly may improve with time. The pages are glossy and high quality. The covers are in very good condition with just minor wear, but the back cover looks like it had something spilled on it. It may come off, but I will leave that to the new owner. The binding is tight and the book is in overall excellent condition, especially for its age. Please view all the pictures as they are part of the description. This comes from a non-smoking, pet-free home. Thanks for looking!
