Description: Elite Works Limoges Pink & White Rose & Clouded Gold 10 1/2 Inch Cake Plate Antique French porcelain cake plate. Decorated with pink and white roses. With clouded / sponged gold highlights to the handle and along the edge. Marked on the bottom Elite L France in green. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Bawo & Dotter in Limoges France after 1900. Also marked in red P&B Limogesd France. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. FX
