Description: This is a very nice looking, clean, harder to find, well desirable Elkington Silver Plate piece from the late well renowned Elkington & CO. The pattern of this ladle is ever-practical, never going out of style, and is often referred to as TIPPED, or WINDSOR TIPPED but, depending on the manufacturer, may have other names as well. This company, which went through a fre changes became well organized and started a letter date defining system in 1865 which is how I know this ladle is from 1881 because the letter V represents that year.
