Description: Encounter with Art by Reid Hastie & Christian Schmidt - RARE 1969 1st Ed - MINT Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This book was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. This book is BRAND NEW and MINT. The spine is unbroken. Dust jacket is near perfect with only one tiny nick on the right upper front cover edge. Actual front and back covers have no damage. No marks or highlighting in text except for a price, in pencil, on the inside front page. Cover lies flat. Many color photographs. Illustrated, collectible, 1st edition. 1st print. This appears to be yet another book they brought home from the store and never read. The outer slipcover has a few dings from being shoved into the bookcase. Please the last picture on the right side of the upper top of the slipcover. That is all that is wrong with the book. This book is written for artists and designers about how to integrate the processes of art and creativity. Please read the table of contents. This is such an amazing book and I am so sorry, and embarrassed that I had no idea what it was. Pretty cool. Please note: the book is just under 5 lbs and the slipcase is not shoddy. This takes it into the next shipping rate. Sorry!
