They stole his girl and ruined his setup. Steve Britton had no choice. He was through being pushed around. Now his enemies would have to meet him at the end of a gun... Henry Andrew DeRosso began producing Western short stories while a high-school student, making his first professional sale to Street & Smith's Western Story Magazine in 1941. Health issues prevented military service during World War II, so he was able to write tales for Western Story and other pulps during this period, along with farm work and working as a mail carrier. By the end of the war he was able to devote his full time to writing. Between 1940 and 1960 he published around 200 Western short stories and short novels in various pulp magazines. Nearly all his tales are set in the stark, desolate wastes of the Southwest and became known for their dark and compelling visions of the night side of life and their austere realism. He also wrote six Western novels, including .44 (1953) and End of the Gun (1955). He died on October 14, 1960.Shipping This item will be shipped for a flat charge of $6.00 by USPS Media Mail to any United States Destination.
