Description: English Engraved Card Case Horton Allday Sterling Silver 1902 Mono English sterling silver card case with hinged lid, all around decorated with engraved scroll patterns. Interior is gilt. On the front, there is a round reserve, monogrammed "HSJ". Made by Horton & Allday, Birmingham, 1902. This marvelous case is 3 3/16" long, 1 11/16" wide, 1/4" thick and weighs 43 grams or 1.38 ozs Troy. It has some tiny dents. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
