Here is a very cool Epiphone Les Paul Special II Plus Top in a transparent Gloss Blue Burst finish with a few nice upgrades. Really nice top on this one. This guitar is in great used condition ,but it does have some small indentations on the front, one on the back of the neck,and one on the back bottom edge near the strap button, otherwise just very mild surface scratches. The pickups are some hot 4 wire HMV Double Cream pickups I had, they meter around 7.4k-neck, 14.2k- bridge.Next I replaced the stock tone control with a push/pull tone control so you can split the humbucker into a single coil by just pulling up on the tone knob. I upgraded the tone capacitor with a mylar film cap. Sounds great clean, but even better when you crank up the gain. I also replaced the stock closed back tuners with some more vintage looking Kluson style tuners. Neck shows near zero fret wear and the action is great. Guitar looks,plays,and sounds great. Please study the pictures to get a better idea. I only ship fully insured to the lower 48 states,and nowhere else. I describe all guitars to the best of my abilities.I don't take every guitar apart to check every freaking screw.I disclose all pimples just so there are no misunderstandings.All guitars are sold as is. Insurance is included in my shipping and handling charges.I will not ship out of the U.S. My feedback is public record,and I aim to keep it good. I will no longer do local pickups period.
