Description: "E.SACHS HOFLIEFERANT BERLIN" stamped at the bottom of the blade, on the opposite side "W.K & C" (Weyersberg Kirshbaum and Cie) stamped on the other. The blade is 33" in length with scroll like engraving on the bottom half of both sides. The hand guard is brass with body side folding down. The grip is brass wire wrapped. Minimal pitting rust and scuffs. Includes leather and brass scabbard (brass tip present). This sword does show wear where noted but otherwise in good condition, especially the handle which is in above average condition for it's age. The scabbard is peeling and shows wear. The measurement of the sword is roughly 38.5 inches, whereas the blade is a healthy 32-33 inches. This sword could be dated anywhere from the late 1800s all the way up to WWI, but precise time frame is unknown.
