This is a genuine, vintage (more than 50 years old) Comoy's Of London walking stick. 35.5" tall. What's the difference between a walking stick and a cane you ask? From the internet: "A walking stick, especially one with a novelty handle, is designed more for use as a fashion accessory but may still provide some stability and balance whilst walking for shorter periods of times, while a walking cane is designed for regular everyday use as a mobility aid to support your full body weight and take the pressure off." This belonged to an ancestor of my wife. We've been cleaning out closets of things handed down by previous generations and came across this relic. It's in really good shape with no damage as far as I can see. The lacquer coating is still shiny.
