There is another firmware that just came out, but i'll leave that to you if you'd like to update the firmware If you don't know these Pucks are great have have multiple use cases. - They can be used as a Primary lighting controller, also a backup to follow another EOS/ Nomad family controller for redundancy. You can also just use them as an offline editor to program your show at home and then load the file over USB to console. We had them in racks for small corporate shows where we just needed a couple of looks programmed Has a total of 1024 channels of DMX, this can be spread across multiple universes, They don't require a Dongle, they're just ready to roll. Also they run windows 7 embedded, so you can plug in a touch screen. You can also hook up an EOS wing over USB if you want faders. There are no 5 pin DMX ports on board, but it does have ethernet and USB, So you could get an ETC Gadget II- USB to 5 pin DMX adaptor, or most and sCan or Artnet gateway over ethernet and use that to convert to USB.
