The 5150 Standard features an HH pickup, controlled by a quick-access 3-way toggle creme. The custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucker pickups in the rear provide sweet sustain and firm rhythm tones, even with perfectly balanced EQ. The EVH Wolfgang Hambucker in the front provides overdrive and infinite junior sustain, while still providing crisp clean tones at lower volumes. The high-friction tone knob and custom-designed EVH branded low-friction volume knob allow you to play the volume however you like.
