The Excalibur Phantom Force is somewhat rare but is still the most common self moving chess computer except for Squareoff. The Excalibur Phantom Force is also well made since despite being like 18 years old the unit in this listing works like new. The Excalibur Phantom Force is much smaller and more compact than the previous self moving chess computer models made by Excalibur, Fidelity, and Milton Bradley. It also has some other notable features such as the Excalibur Phantom Force talks and also plays sound effects when the Excalibur Phantom Force or its opponent take chess pieces during the game. The engine in the Fidelity Phantom 6124 & 6126 models is called Chesster and the Excalibur Phantom Force's engine calls itself Chessica. The Excalibur Phantom Force can also speak in 3 different languages: English, French, and German. The Excalibur Phantom Force also has a sleep mode so you can turn it off and put it away but save your game and keep playing later. The Excalibur Phantom Force is pretty modern as well as cool. There are 2 different sets of the Excalibur Phantom Force models. The one made in 2007 which the Excalibur Phantom Force in this listing is, and the one made in 2010. They are virtually identical with the only differences being cosmetic. The 2010 Excalibur Phantom Force is the 2007 Excalibur Phantom Force just with a slightly different color scheme. Both have the same features, engine, and work the same way. The same can be said between the Excalibur Phantom Force and the Sharper Image Phantom. The only differences between them are cosmetic and brand name, they all have the same features, engine, and work in the same way. This Excalibur Phantom Force comes with the original box, pieces, power supply, and instructions. I am selling 2 Excalibur Phantom Forces and only have one power supply so first to buy one gets it! But don't worry, the Excalibur Phantom Force is also battery operated. I'm a collector of self moving chess computers like the Fidelity Phantom 6124 and 6126 Chesster Chess Challengers. I have been intentionally building my collection up since June of 2022. By this point I have acquired all the models of self moving chess computers ever made in my collection which has branched out by now to include numerous models of non self moving chess computers as well. Most of these models I got good deals for on ebay or they were gifts but last fall I realized I'd spent a ton of money on my collection by that point.
