No chips, cracks , hairlines or repairs to her head. SOLID. Just as BEAUTIFUL as the day made. The hair seems to be original mohair and is still attached to head, needs a brushing out. The RED STAMPED " HANDWERCK" Body has very little play ware as shown in a couple photos out of the 24 photo's in listing.. Massive brown sleep eyes, with great painting of features, and a smooth bisque that is just wonderful. Open mouth with 4 pearly white teeth. Painted RED dots in the corner of each eye and also inside each nostril for realistic apperance. Eye brows and lash's are crisp , clear and fantastic !!! All of this on her original glossy finish torso body. Big brown 3-D glass sleepy eyes { you can look right into them and see the pupal } artistically painted lashes, featuring thick feathered eyebrows, an an open mouth with four upper teeth and a dimpled chin, with pale blushed cheeks. Her ears are pierced for earrings with no damage at all to the holes { see close up of each side }, and she wears a soft light brown mohair wig in jerry curls that come down past her shoulders. She has a lovely original finish to body, with stamped HANDWERCK mark on the back { I super impossed what it would look like in photo #13 if it was stamped better }. She Stands an impressive 26" tall. She wears a Christmas Green Velvet dress with lovely hand sewn Bonnet hat. The dress has lace overlay for trim. Undergarment's are a white cotton full slip with lace trim and white cotton pantaloons { tiny bit of age tanning here and there}. Black shoes that lace up { the left shoe where the string go's has split where the hole is, nothing bad } and black socks. All snaps and buttons present ! Her joints and socket are just fine. Not super tight but not super loose either. She can hold some pose's as shown in photo's. MARKS TO BACK OF HEAD ARE AS FOLLOWS: 109 13 3/4 H 5 This is an EARLY Heinrich Handwerch MARK. 1876-1902 era. CONDITION: Excellent. Gorgeous, pale bisque with expert and delicate painting of features, crisp and deep modeling of an absolutely gorgeous face, pleasant, subtle color. The glass eyes sparkle, and sleep well, with great pupil alignment. The wood & compos body with shiny original finish is in great condition with a couple marks where the top of the front legs attach to body { PIC #17 body rubs } and a spider hairline in front chest area shown in PIC #23 with RED PEN. She also has the red stamped HANDWERCK mark on the back {{ only the bottom 1/2 stamped because the curve in her back , where they tried to stamp it , stopped the completion of stamp.
