Description: Very Rare!Capodimonte Pizza Chef FigurinePorcelain - 11.5" High This is an extremely rare figurine with the Capodimonte "N" and Crown stamp. The detail is incredible and the facial expression endearing. I do not know the age but my short research on the "N" mark places it between 1920 and 1960 but it could be newer. After multiple searches, I cannot find another exact match, only similar figures from the apparent series. There is a signature on the front that I assume is the artist's signature but I cannot identify it. This appears to be part of a series with the same chef holding different food choices and dressed differently but with the same expression and pose. There is one imperfection - The tip of the knife is chipped off and there is a chip on the plate below it (obviously from the same event) It is hard to detect and could be repaired.
