Circa 1960's, this sweet little beauty is part of several sets of LITTLE WOMEN dolls that the Alexander factory offered for many years, and this one is an EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE, found in MINTY CONDITION even after almost 60 years! Amy is made of HARD PLASTIC and is wearing her FACTORY ORIGINAL ensemble consisting of a TAGGED cream cotton dress with white dotted Swiss yellow lace trimmed pinafore apron, white cotton half slip with matching pantaloons, and white rayon socks with original black velveteen side-snap shoes! All garments are in crisp and in unlaundered condition, but the elastic around the dress sleeves and undergarment waistbands are somewhat stretched with age. She has her original light BLONDE WIG which is very clean, bright and soft, still in it's ORIGINAL SET with curly bangs in the front and pulled upwards in the back in a top knot tied with the original black velvet ribbon, complemented with soft curls at the base of her neck. Her BEAUTIFUL EYES are hazel blue in color with all her eyelashes appearing intact, and we love those large LISSY PUPILS characteristic of this beloved vintage doll! Her HARD PLASTIC body is jointed at the neck, upper arms and legs and appears in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with no apparent splits, cracks or repairs; we did have her partially restrung so she can hold a firm pose!
