Not sure how legitimate this claim is, but he's got a lot of good feedback. Seems to work for most. If you have a really competitive race, I would look at different design concepts that allow for more weight placement options. So we decided to take the grunt work out of it for you. We are offering a RAW CNC cut body meaning it still needs attention. We are trying to build a community of builders, not a one store domination. This design utilizes the 1" tungsten disc. Please be aware that there is a 1.125" disc out there as well and if you have that disc, there is NO WAY to modify this body to make it work. Made from an official Derby pine block, the fastest pinewood derby car conforms to MOST Cub Scout rules*** 7″ in length Minimum 3/8″ ground clearance 1.75″ in width May utilize rear camber axles This car comes in at about 11 grams of weight. ***Extended Wheelbase only. CHECK YOUR RULES*** IT MATTERS! I would highly suggest making this a rail rider setup. as it is an aggressive COG Axle placement is 3/4" from each end which leaves plenty of room to remain legal. Axle holes are drilled with #44 drill. It will be semi-tight. And this body is well lets say treat it with care. Don't be silly and rush things.
