Description: Fender Custom Shop 2019 Collection Time Machine 1959 Stratocaster Olympic White Description Condition: New The Time Machine series of the 2019 collection, which we had re-ordered, has arrived after 5 years! This slab-rose spec model has a nice heavy-relic with intense weather checks! This one is based on a 1959 Stratocaster with Rose fretboard! Alder body with 1956 shape was carefully selected for the Custom Shop by our wood selection specialists. The neck is made of rift-sawn maple, the fingerboard radius is 9.5R, the frets are tall and narrow, and the fingerboard is made of slab rosewood. The body & neck finish is an all lacquer finish, just like vintage. The heavy-relic finish shows weather checking with no regularity and extensive and heavy paint peeling in places. The back of the neck has been stripped extensively from the 1st to 12th floor area, and the texture of the wood surface provides a smooth playing feel. The clear coat has been tarnished on the remaining painted areas to create a candy-colored finish. The neck grip is a 63 Strat C shape taken from a vintage 1963 model. Compared to the common 60s Oval C shape, it is thicker with thicker sides when gripped, but it is basically the type of thin neck grip of the 60s. The hardware is a synchronized tremolo with PAT.PEND. engraved saddles, and the machine head features vintage-type Cruson pegs. The Custom Shop's raw sound, which is above the line among Fender guitars, is characterized by the clarity of its bolt-on construction, and the air and thickness of the sound when output from an amp is truly on another level. Furthermore, the resonance obtained from the relic finish allows the player to fully experience the vibrations of the body and neck just by playing one chord. The overwhelming raw sound is so comfortable that you can play it forever without using an amp, a quality that can only be experienced with the Custom Shop, which is very responsive to play. All hand-wound pickups are used to reproduce the wonderful sound. Compared to the usual machine-wound pickups, the hand-wound pickups give the impression of rich overtones and an acoustic airy feeling coming out of the amp. This model uses Fat 50s (Alnico 5/Foam Barwire) with a clean clean sound but also fat, and the Alder/Rose wood material with 50s pickups makes it an excellent match for distortion amps. The controls are Vintage Modified Strat #2. The volume has a Bleed custom based on a high-pass capacitor with a ceramic capacitor and resistor, while the tone uses a Fender paper wax capacitor that matches each position. The Bleed Custom allows the volume to be turned down while maintaining the mid and high frequencies even when the volume is turned down, and the specs are useful as a gain control to create a lead tone at full volume, backing tone at around 70%, and clean/crunch at 50% or less. The tone capacitor is located at the neck. The tone capacitor has an overall tone balance by selecting the appropriate capacitor value for each position of the neck & middle tone and bridge tone. It is characterized by a tone that remains in the midrange and is not too thin compared to general high-pass condensers. The tone is not too thin and the midrange is not too thin compared to a typical high-pass condenser! What is Fender Custom Shop?
