Ruby is almost impossible. This beautiful piece is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The color is awesome! The hardware is in great shape, but at some point the cord has been replaced. The lamp is in good working condition. The Fenton Art Glass Company produced the Diamond Optic Pattern from 1927 until 1938 when it was discontinued. This lamp was made during this time period. Description / About: #1502-Diamond Optic Ruby Lamp: 11" H. - 4" W. Diamond Optic (1927-1938) (black, jade, green, rose, aqua, royal blue, ruby, orchid, tangerine, crystal, and moonstone) Fenton introduced Diamond Optic in 1927. Most pieces were discontinued by 1931. Ice buckets, bowls and vases are commonly found in this pattern. Many Diamond Optic pieces will also be found in the Dolphin pattern with Dolphin handles.
