Description: This is a high quality, very nicely painted pair of antique 19th century Japanese Meiji period Arita blue and white fish plates measuring approximately 9 3/4" (24.8 cm) x 7" (17.8 cm), with each plate having an apocryphal Ming Wanli mark. The plates are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Surface wear commensurate with age, and the slightest of rough edges in a couple of spots on the fins - spur marks on tail that occurred at time of manufacture. Ships with USPS Priority Mail.
