The shinogi tsukuri blade with 20 and 1/4 inch cutting edge, item hada, and exuberant choji midare hamon with tobiyaki. The blade is in full polish with no kizu. Nakago is ubu at jiri but machi okuri with two mekugi ana. Nice character Kanemitsu signature. Excellent cat scratched gilt copper habaki in fine condition. Splendid shakudo tsuba 2 and 3/4 inches in diameter one side with two relief samurai in full armour, one next to his caparisoned horse details in copper, gold and shakudo of very fine quality, the faces of the two opposing samurai well detailed. The reverse side with waterfall and branch in copper, gold, and shakudo. Gold foil sepia. The fuchi kashira of exquisite quality shakudo nanako, the fuchi with genuine signature Yoshinori (?) and kakihan. The fuchi with a fully armored samurai in ultra high relief in gold, copper and shakudo holding a yumi at the Yoshino Bridge. Ultra high relief samurai menuki ensuite. The kashira with fully armored samurai, one facing the other with drawn katana at the bridge in gold, copper, and shakudo. The quality and detail is exceptional, worthy of the best artists listed in the Kinko Meikan. The same of presentation quality. Condition is optimal. Blue tsuka makie. Fine shakudo nanako kozuka with running fully armored samurai in shakudo and gold facing two yanone flying towards him. Fine black roiro saya with kurikata and sekigane.
