Description: I have for sale a medal from Finland that commemorates the United States 1976 Bicentennial. It was issued by the USA BICENTENNIAL-FINNISH COMMITTEE which is struck on the rim. Also on the rim is KULTATEOLLISUUS, FINLAND and the number 207. The obverse shows five figures standing in the prow of a small boat looking at a shoreline in the distance. The reverse shows the American & Finnish flags blowing in a breeze. At the rim it reads OLD FRIENDS - STRONG TIES. The medal is bronze, 3 1/16 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition.
