Description: Hardcover with dust jacket - 248 pages. Signed by the author. This book is an account of the horrible fire that happened at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in Boston on November 28, 1942 which claimed the lives of 490 people in about 12 minutes. The dust jacket has some light wear/aging: small tear on the upper front right side, creasing towards the bottom edge, creasing/wear along the spine. There’s a small part cut off on the front flap (see picture 21). The dust jacket did its job well because the book itself is in very nice condition. All pages are intact, crisp, and clean without any rips or tears. The only thing to note is that the book is slightly bent (seems like it had weight stored on top of it, so it bent down slightly), see last picture. Other than that it’s in great shape. I took a boatload of pictures so please have a look through all of them for details, and condition. This will be wrapped safely for shipping and thanks for looking!
