Description: Fisher PH-803BA surround sound boombox. Radio works fine and there is a connection on the back for a CD player or other device. Speakers detach. Works on power or batteries. Battery compartment is clean with no corrosion. This would make a great unit for a workshop or garage. It's is really loud and has great sound. The radio sounds great. It has some light paint specs on it that may come off with a fingernail. Normal wear for a unit this old. Antenna may have been replaced. Looks different than the original. I have not opened it, but typically the belts break on these old cassette units. Replacement belts are available if you search for them. The transport buttons on the decks are fine buy the tape just doesn't turn. Comes with the power cord which has paint on it as well. This box has two RCA jacks on it and a switch for rear speakers. I have not tested it, but looks like you could connect this to separate powered speakers or a receiver. Fisher was known for making higher end stuff.
