Fisheye Nikkor 16mm f/3.5 MF AI Prime lens w/Lens Caps, "AS-IS", Plz read!

Description: You are looking at a lens that looks brand new from the outside. Unfortunately, the rear element has some fungus as shown in the last two photos at an angle that shows it at its worst. Fortunately though, the front appears clean so a clean-up probably will only involve the rear most element. A fortunate occurrence is that when I took photos on my 35mm Nikon FM and Sony a7Rii mirrorless camera, I could not see any problems with the images but I'm not sure if it'll be that way on your camera. I've attached some shots using the lens on my Sony if that helps explain what I'm saying. This comes with both the rear and front caps and the original instruction manual that came with it. ********************** 11-27-2024 Update***********************An eBay member provided me with his idea that the swirl pattern on the rear element shown in the photos might indicate a problem with lens separation. This might be in addition to some fungus or a combination of both.
