Description: This auction is for a figurine as listed and shown. I obtain my items from estate sales, people who are de-stashing and other sources. I describe the condition as best as I can. Look closely at all the pictures. What you see is what you get. The piece is in excellent condition. Look at the last 2 pictures: The 2 dots you see are not chips. They are little defects in the paint. The black dot in the last picture is also a paint defect. These are all tiny and only noticible when looking really closely. Any other white marks you see in the pictures are only reflections of my lights. Note that on my monitor the color looks more green than it actually is. The real color is more of a muted olive green. Note that you cannot necessarily count on the color match to the pictures. Your monitor may show them differently than mine. If you have questions about the colors contact me. Info on the company - copied from the internet - "Florence Ceramics was in business in Pasadena, Calif., from 1942 to 1977. Florence Ward (1894-1977) began making ceramics in her garage in about 1940. She established Florence Ceramics Co. in 1942. The company made figurines, boxes, candleholders and other items. Many of the figurines were designed by Florence Ward. The company was sold to Scripto Corp. in 1964. Scripto made cups, mugs, trays, banks and advertising items under the Florence Ceramics name, but it did not make the figurines and other items produced by the original company. Scripto closed in 1977." Contact me if you have questions.Note that International Shipping goes through EBAY. Ebay adds an additional shipping charge to my shipping cost.
