Description: Beeswax food wraps are plastic wrap alternative. It is good for environment, helps to reduce household waste and protect wildlife. Beeswax is shown to have antimicrobial properties that are ideal for food wrapping purposes. The wraps help food stay fresher and longer since they are breathable. Use the heat of your hands to mould the wrap around containers, fold around foods and breads or make snack packs. The beeswax food wraps come in two sizes and limited quantity indicated below. For size 9" x 9.5", it is suitable to wrap around a medium bowls up to 8" or individual fruits and snacks. For size 13.5" x 18", it can be used to wrap around a large bread, sandwich or vegetable. The wraps are made with natural ingredients. They include 100% cotton fabric, Canadian pure beeswax and jojoba oil or castor oil. The beeswax food wraps are reusable. With proper care, they should last for at least a year depending on the frequency of usage. Beeswax wraps are biodegradable. Over time the protective wax coating will wear out when it comes to the end of its useful life, you can either re-apply a fresh coat of beeswax or simply bury it in the garden. Unlike plastic wraps, the beeswax wraps will biodegrade. To clean the wrap, hand wash it with cold water and mild soap only. Hang to dry. Avoid placing it in heat source, meaning do not use the wraps in the microwave. Do not use wraps for seafood or raw meat.
