Description: Antique 1927 M.L.F. Inc Art Deco Wall Sconces B305 Quantity: Four (4)Good WORKING Condition Size: 9 1/2" high (+1/2" including the bulb), 4 5/8" wide, 4 3/4" deep These sconces came out of my 1905 Denver Square home - I believe they are the originals. Marked as "Patent 3-29-27" "M.L.F. INC. B305" (or B308, it is hard to read). M.L.F. Inc. is a company that produced cast iron wall sconces and light fixtures in the early 1900s. B305 and B307 are model numbers of some of their products. You can search online here to see similar examples. Color is brass, with green and red accents on the flowers. It appears to be the original finish according to my research. The removable faux-candle is made of wood/cardboard and has faux wax drippings. To remove, take the lightbulb out and just slide off. They appear to have been spraypainted to match the color. I'm guessing they were originally white, and you could paint them back to white to suit your style. They look great and ARE IN WORKING CONDITION with an on/off switch on each unit. Comes with antique-looking flame lightbulbs that flicker or replace with your own. Accepts normal A19-sized bulbs. Items of note for the detail-oriented like me:The lamp nuts that hold the unit to the wall: there is 1 original, and 3 appear to be brushed nickel, identical size and shape, but different finish. One has a little beige paint speckles. You may want to spray paint them the same color if desired, however I don't think the difference is very noticeable. The units are attached to the wall with standard light hanging hardware (not included). You can see on the very last picture and example of how they are attached with standard hardware you can easily find at your local hardware store. This picture is NOT these units, it is a picture of an identical unit I found on the Internet.A few of the faux drips on the faux candles have minor imperfections, but you can rotate the tube so they can't be noticed.Note the pictures show quantity 6, but only 4 are offered. If interested I can send pictures of the exact 4, however they're pretty much all identical. Overall, I believe these are in PRIMO condition. These are USA standards (120 volts, US wall-hanging hardware, etc.) Packed securely in bubble-wrap.
