Description: Four By The Beatles USA Capitol Records EP 45 rpm West Coast Pressing. Mono No sleeve (one with a sleeve in good condition sells for much more). Looks bad but plays OK, with some static, but no skips, as will be evidenced by the CD "Safe Copy" that is included in the price of this rare EP. Safe copy was produced using an Audio Technica turntable and recorded on a Sony RCD W500C Compact Disc Recorder. Capitol only released one other Beatles EP in the USA (1965) due to poor sales of EPs in the USA. This EP was released in May 1964. The 45 was cleaned, but a professional cleaning is recommended. Labels are in very good condition, but there is a slight bit of writing ("Susan") on one side, that does not obscure label printing. Only selling this EP in this condition because of its playability and rarity. West Coast pressings of this EP have green labels with centered song titles and centered writer's credits. In addition, the word RECORDS appears below the Capitol logo. Scranton pressings are not as rare and sell for less.
