Description: The title of this portrait is "Anticipation." It was painting for me in 2022 by my good friend Viktor Arseni. Viktor and his lovely family live in Chisinau Moldova. Viktor's sales were a bit slow during the Covid epidemic, and the onset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which borders Moldova. The Ukraine War was raging very close to his home, and there was some very serious concerns that the war might spill over into Moldova. Consequently, with things a bit slow because of Covid and the war, I asked Viktor if he would paint a piece for me. He showed a thumbnail of this portrait, and I said that it was "perfect." Well, he worked on this piece during some very stressful time for he and his family. Nonetheless, Viktor rose to the challenge and completed this beautiful piece which he then shipped to me here in the United States. And that, my good friends, is how this lovely piece of artwork came into being. The painting which is in excellent condition is 32 inches x 24 inches.
