Generally very good or better with typical wear and toning and a few scattered stains. Nice set, catalogues, several being quite early, from the iconic New York bookstore, the Gotham Book Mart. Frances Steloff (1887-1989) founded the store in Midtown Manhattan in 1920 and it quickly became a center for literary modernism in the U.S. Besides carrying modern and experimental lit, press books, and art, Steloff also published works in these genres, including by Andre Gide and Wallace Stevens.
