Description: French beads offered in 8 gram bags. This is a rare and highly sought after color, a greasy (meaning it allows some light to pass through, like polished jade does) blue that might be considered turquoise but without the green undertone. I am noticing that some sellers of antique seed beads call the greasy finish "waxy beads". This color is known as Pony Trader blue to Native American bead workers and is among the earliest colors ever used. I have a limited quantity and can combine multiple bags into one larger bag. These are 1.6-1.8 mm (most are 1.7 mm but there is a range from 1.5-1.9 on the odd end) and 22-23 beads per inch. Tiny rare micro seed beads in sizes ranging from 10/0 to 22/0 are my specialty, as is antique beaded purse restoration. I occasionally offer very high quality antique beaded purses for sale, usually from my own personal collection. I strive to provide excellent customer service and packing/shipping that is well executed and very reasonable to the buyer.
