Description: Offered are two Vintage "French's Your Canary" 1941 & "Hartz Mountain Canary Care" advertising booklets. The newer book, "Your Canary" is put out by "The R.T. French Company", Rochester New York. It's a First Edition, eleventh Printing. It measures about 4 1/2" x 6". It has colored glossy covers with some awesome French's Pet Foods pictures of a Pet Store shelf filled with French's Pet Foods. Great graphics! The booklet itself features early pictures of artists renderings of canaries and there are some black and white photos. there are some light water stains on the pictures and the booklet has wave and some bending to it. The Hartz Mountain is older but I can't find a date. The cover has great wear and the upper portion of the book is missing (1/2 to 1") The booklet measures about 6 3/4" x 4 7/8". The pages are filled with nice artist drawings of all the early Hartz products. The back cover features a great collage of all the Hartz products from that year. It also comes with it's original shipping envelope. It has a lot of wear, but it's from the R. T. French Company. A set of very nice, early Canary paper advertising to add to y our collection.
