To see the Nintendo logo on your screen, you must first insert a working game into your console. Why aren't my games working in my Gameboy? A very common issue with technology from this era is corrosion and grime. The bottom connectors of your game cartridge(s) are perfect examples of this. To ensure that your cartridge is functional with the console, we recommend cleaning your games before inserting them into the console. To do so, vigorously wipe the bottom connector of your game cartridge with a Q-Tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol. This ensures proper connection between the game and the game console. My Gameboy has a red battery light shining where the front screen is. Is this bad? The front battery light of your game boy console is intended to be on ONLY when your console is on, and you have the proper batteries installed.
