Description: ***WE DO NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY OR ACCEPT OFFERS OUTSIDE OF THE BUY IT NOW PRICE.*** HISTORY: This card needs further research. The back reads, "This is a view of our (illegible) before we boarded a train to go to Chattanooga Tenn. In back of the Hotel is a large cotton field. On our march to the station we passed thru a very historic battlefield - Chickamauga. Charles' brother was killed and buried here during the civil war. I am seen with my arms crossed." My initial presumption was that these were Fort Oglethorpe soldiers who were marching. I cannot identify where they are standing. The hotel is wooden and only part of its sign is visible at the top of the picture. Additionally, there is a "Sammie Store" with pool tables inside. Perhaps someone with a better knowledge of the GA-TN border area can assist me with identifying this photo.PAYMENT POLICY: ***In order to receive any promotional pricing when purchasing more than one card, be sure to click the ADD TO CART button instead of the BUY IT NOW button, and pay for all of your cards on one invoice.*** If you're the type that clicks the Buy It Now button on your phone, discounts won't be applied!
