The smaller 11 cogs are machined from nickel plated steel while the largest 12th cog is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. It is then assembled to be a one-piece cassette, making installation a breeze. It comes in three gear ranges offering you a choice of maximizing gear range or reducing tooth gaps between gears. Chamfered teeth also help improve shifting while reducing the chance of chain drop.This cassette works with SRAM XD freehubs and 12-speed SRAM derailleurs. While it is compatible with many 12-speed chains, we recommend you use SRAM 12-speed chain for the best shifting performance.
