Description: Local stamp for the Farne Islands, the small archipelago off the Northumberland coast famous for their wildlife. The stamp was prepared and issued by a philatelist and islands-enthusiast on a visit to the islands of North-East England and is believed to be only the third local stamp issue for the Farne Islands following the first issue of 2012 (now sold out) and the second issue of 2016 (see separate listing). 300 stamps were printed, of which 30 were used on postcards mailed from the Inner Farne island. Issue date 24 May 2022. Denomination £1.00.
