The mounding surface takes up 7 picatinny sections, and features 4 shear lugs with 2 nut and bolt combinations. Each of the nut and bolt combinations provide a clamping force of 1400 pounds, ensuring a steadfast hold even under heavy recoil. To ensure the best possible fit and best possible return to zero, each mount is milled out of a single piece of high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum. This method allows ribs and pockets to be added for enhanced strength and rigidity, as well as lining up the bore caps to each other.
