I put a fresh battery in but I've had these batteries a couple years so I don't know how long it will last. It's very easy to change. Take a knife. Pop the back off and change it out. It appears to be a size 6-3/4" based on how it fits on the mandrel. There are some light scratches in the face of the watch but you have to really be looking to see anything.
