Description: The Georgian 30,000 Kuponi banknote is part of the coupon series that was issued in 1994. This brownish-red and orange banknote has a dimension of 115 x 55 mm and was designed by Nodar and Bachana Malazonia. The banknotes front design features a carving of a griffin from Samtavisi Cathedral flanking a Borjgali, the symbol of the sun and tree of life, and a vertical gray stripe at the right edge of the watermark area. On the reverse is a well-crafted carving of a grapevine. The note does not contain any security thread however a parallelogram watermark pattern is added to the note to enhance its security features.
