Description: These are Georgian sterling silver Sugar Tongs made by Hester Bateman. They are in the bright cut engraved style and were made and hallmarked in London circa 1780 - 1790. These tongs measure approximately 5.25" in length and weigh about 0.95 troy ounces. They are in excellent condition with no monogram or inscription.
