Description: Up for auction is a vintage (circa 1970) German stoneware vase with a salt glaze and handpainted cobalt blue flowers. There are bands of raised blue dots encircling the vase just below the narrowed neck and above the flared vase. On the bottom of the vase is a stamped "Handarbeit" impression as well as a hand-impression of "100/10". The vase is a good condition with some slight browning in places. The rim edge has been repaired with what looks like 3 small pieces reglued in place (the damaged area is about 1-1/2" long by 1/4" high). The edges of the broken pieces are visible but are not distracting from the overall beauty of the piece. The vase is approximately 4-1/2" high by 3-1/2" in diameter at the widest point. It weighs 11.4 oz.
