Around the outside it has a white scroll like boarder. Marked on the face:Meister AnkerQUARTZMade in Germany The mechanism is marked990 Quartz Since fitting with a good quality alkaline battery it has worked perfectly for three weeks or more now. The battery will not be included for shipping. This clock would make a wonderful gift, a delightful display item and is ideal for a collector. It really suits 1960s/70s MCM décor, and will go with almost any mid 20th century style. Its a a great decorators piece and a perfect prop for any film/tv/theatre production set in the era. In VERY GOOD vintage condition and the clock is in good working order. The only issue is that the plastic face is a little discoloured and lightly scuffed but this doesn't really affect it when its up in a wall.
