Two ply American Cow leather, black died with glossy exterior, .125 - .140 inch thickness. Model number is FZE34LH, named model Federal Man: a high ride holster that will fit a 2 1/4 inch Sam Browne belt, but usually worn with 1 1/2 inch to 1 3/4 inch wide Garrison Belt or just normal plainclothes belts. Conspicuous long thumb break tab. This type holster had its heyday in the 1960s and 1970s. Accommodates most medium frame six shot double action revolvers with 4 inch barrels, including Smith & Wesson's model 10, 12, 13, 15, 18, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67; Taurus 65, 66, 80, 82 and similar; Taurus Trackers with 4 inch; Ruger Speed Six, Security Six, Service Six, and GP100 4 inch. Smooth Black dyed original factory finish. Service domicile was North Carolina Department of Corrections; it issued with a 65 like the one in the photos. Moderate wear, surface wrinkling and snap toning. We rate Good, perhaps Very Good, but photos ought to suffice. Period Correct for 4 inch medium revolvers made from 1960s to 1990s.
