The round-shoulder acoustic guitar "J-45" was born in 1942 as the successor to the J-35. This model has been loved by many musicians and guitarists to this day, and is nicknamed "The Workhorse". It was named this because it was sold for $45 at the time. The original J-45 reigned as the representative of round shoulders for 28 years after its birth. However, in 1970, it underwent a transformation and was transformed into a square-shouldered and long-scale guitar. Production ended in 1982, but it was revived in 1984 as the long-awaited "round-shouldered and 24-3/4-inch scale". In 2009, the new model "J-45 Standard" was born, and this is the latest model. Made in Montana, USA, left-handed specification. The body is all solid wood, with Sitka spruce on the top and mahogany on the sides and back. Flat teardrop pickguard and 1-ring rosette with 3-ply binding. Equipped with L.R. Baggs Element VTC, volume/tone control is possible on the side of the sound hole edge. The edge of the fingerboard is also rounded, which allows for smooth fingering. Mother of Pearl inlay, Graph Tech nut, and Grover Rotomatic pegs with a gear ratio of 14:1 are used. The glue-bonded dovetail neck joint and nitrocellulose lacquer finish (gloss) are familiar! The L.R. Baggs Element VTC provides a more balanced sound, which will come in handy at live performances!
