Item Description Gibson LG-1 1964 The small body has a spruce top and mahogany sides/back. This is an attractive piece with a unique light sound created by using "rudder bracing" instead of "X bracing" used in Gibson acoustic's representative model "J-45" etc. The neck has a regular neck with a nut width of 42mm, so you can use it without any discomfort no matter what guitar you pick up. This is an original vintage item that you can understand right away when you see the weather check. This is a well-repaired piece. Starting with the standard bridge replacement (rosewood), it seems that the bridge plate has also been replaced. Perhaps because of this, there is little bulge on the top and it is in good condition. Refrets and re-nuts are also applied, the frets are jumbo size equivalent to 6100, and the nut is cow bone. Currently, the saddle height is close to its limit, but the standard settings are 2.5mm for the 6th string and 2.0mm for the 1st string. The pickguard seems to have changed several times in the past, and the one that is currently attached is slightly different in shape from the original, and there are some areas where you can see the difference in the color of the top. There are some cutter scratches near the side of the fingerboard, but the surface seems to be lacquered, and the overall atmosphere seems to match. It looks like a pickup was installed in the past, and the end pin hole is widened. Currently there is nothing attached. Compared to the original, I think it's crisper, but you can still feel that it's the LG-1 with its punchy, compressed sound.
