Description: Own a unique piece of Gorillaz history!I've relisted this item as, having posted the original listing, an extremely kind person got in touch and provided some further light into the background of the item. I couldn't change the description so thought it better to relist so that the description more accurately reflects the item. I acquired this car as part of an auction lot. The seller worked in the music industry both as a roadie and also as a graphic designer for several musicians / bands.In 2010 Gorillaz had a subscription service (fan club) called the Sub Division. Certain promotional items such a ticket presale access, rehearsal access, and prints were shared with club members. This car based on the Style car was due to be one of the items but for licensing reasons and also quality control reasons, it was never made. One of the photos shows the content of an email from Jamie Hewlett confirming it was to be shelved. I've also located an image of him holding a prototype. It's unclear how many prototypes were produced. I'm very unsure on the items value as there is little in terms of precedents. Therefore I've valued it high on ebay with "make me an offer" in order to draw out any reasonable offer prices.
