Graflex - Graphic 35 Jet - 35mm Film Camera - RARE Co2 Powered

Description: Graflex Graphic 35 JET Serial Number: G3652 This camera is in very nice condition but please review all the images as they are part of the description. The only obvious cosmetic defect is a small spot of delamination in the rangefinder window. It is well outside the viewing area so it has no impact on performance. This camera has NOT been film-tested so performance cannot be guaranteed but it certainly appears ready for picture taking. This camera features the Jet-O-Matic drive system which is powered by Co2 cartridges. The system was determined to be unreliable so Graflex capped the cartridge hole on later cameras. All models work with the manual film advance lever but this one offers one of the most ridiculous drive mechanisms available in a 35mm camera! With that said, I do not want to test that particular feature for obvious reasons… All the shutter speeds appear/sound accurate and the rangefinder patch is nice and bright. The focus mechanism is very smooth and easy to use. The exposure meter does NOT work. Selenium cells tend to lose power and expire over time. Use an external light meter for best results. The lens looks great - no issues. The case has a thin crack as shown in the auction images. Hard to notice and does not affect the integrity of the case as a whole. Shoulder strap was broken but there is still a hand strap in place. Front nameplate is missing. Camera comes with a used/empty Graflex Co2 cartridge made specifically for this camera. I actually have a few original boxes of unused Graflex Co2 cartridges. I may be willing to list one for sale if there is any interest. Let me know!
