Pass designs here Dead Fans, as these were designs that were only used for a few short years in the Late-'80's ... and you really can't beat the Late-'80's, right ?!! Both! Skeletons ( 10/22/89 ) & Terrapins ( 10/23/89 ) ... just Dancin' in the Streets ! Charlotte Coliseum style too !!! So let's definitely forget that they had a jail-cell / detention center inside this Coliseum, with Police walking around the isles ' during ' the Shows - looking to put dead Fans in it !?!?! Gotta be careful in Charlotte, at least back in those days - but, it was really no surprise - as there were blue uniforms everywhere. I always felt bad, watching a few of the things I saw there - you know, folks having fun - and being a bit too careless ... & actually getting busted ' during ' Shows - ouch. Well, not to get off-track, because that nice-big parking lot was sure Fun times all around, and there was so much concrete to cover - wide open stuff, that I remember wishing that I had my skateboard ! A nice sized NBA hoops-arena style place, with some surprisingly choice! sound & acoustics. I'll never forget a Morning Dew that I heard Garcia kick-down there one year ( Summer 1991 ? ), and the crowd was so unbelievably quiet & respectful - that it almost sounded like you could hear a pin drop ! I remember thinking ... man, I really kind of dig this back east scene, down in the middle of the south ! Good Folks ! & some Grate ! Fans !! And as for this ' Complete-Set ' of the '89 Fall Tour Charlotte Passes ... they seem pretty appropriate for a Charlotte run, like the total ' opposite ' of UNC and/or Duke colors, right ? Ha ! No, but seriously ... the color contrasts on these Passes are Stellar ! - and they just looks Rad ! I mean they almost have a glowing / shiny look to them, with the color-contrasts - design-lines & all. And ... as for these designs - you just can't beat these ... Both ! " Dancin' Skeletons " & " Dancin' Terrapins " too! Some really fun G.D. Passes, for certain - and, a most-rare set ... tough to find these days, like many of the '89 Passes -- a Banner ! year for the Good Ol' ( New & Improved ! ) 1989 Grateful Dead !!! This is a pair that would look really Sweet ! in a frame, and with a matte(s) too in just the right color(s) - if that is indeed your desire ... it would be way worth the effort. Dancing Skeletons - doing what-they-do best ... Dancin', with a head count ( or should I say ' Skull ' count ! ) of Five ... and everyone looks to be holding their very-own ! step to the beat. And, two Terrapin Station Terrapins doing their thing too ... playing Guitar & Tambourine right out on the open Highway !!! What a set of G.D. Passes - Hello Late-'80's ! And Hello ... to a Smokin'-Hot period of Live-Dead too, right ?!! Wheeewww ... This was the Back East run that started out with the Hampton " Warlocks !
